Advanced Solutions for Hazardous Waste Management in India

What is a Hazardous Waste Processing Plant?

A hazardous waste processing plant is a specialized facility designed to safely collect, process, treat, and dispose of hazardous waste generated by industrial, commercial, and chemical processes. These plants are engineered with advanced systems to handle high-risk materials that can pose serious threats to human health and the environment if not managed correctly.

At Arcler, our plant is equipped with automated receiving, shredding, isolation units, online oxygen detection, nitrogen purging, and fire and explosion control systems ensuring that every step of the hazardous waste handling process is secure, efficient, and compliant with environmental regulations.

What is Hazardous Waste?

Hazardous waste refers to any waste material that is dangerous or potentially harmful to human health and the environment. It can be solid, liquid, or sludge and is typically generated from industrial processes, manufacturing, laboratories, or chemical plants. These wastes are classified as hazardous due to their toxic, flammable, reactive, or corrosive properties and require specialized handling, treatment, and disposal methods.
How it Works

How a Hazardous Waste Management Plant Operates ?

Safe Waste Feeding & Isolation

The waste materials arrive packed in IBCs, metal drums, or jumbo bags. These are first received and moved into sealed compartments that keep the waste contained and prevent harmful fumes from escaping into the environment.

Shredding & Size Reduction

The waste is then transferred to a cutting chamber, where it is broken down into smaller pieces. This step helps make the waste easier to handle and process safely.

Smooth Waste Movement

A ram pusher moves the shredded waste through the system and directs it toward the bottom outlet hopper, where it is collected for the next stage of treatment or disposal.

Fire & Explosion Safety

To ensure safety, the plant features fire dampers, oxygen monitoring, nitrogen purging, explosion vents, and automatic fire detection and suppression systems.

Easy Material Transfer

Finally, a roller conveyor system helps move waste materials smoothly between different sections of the plant without manual handling, reducing risks and improving efficiency.
